Epley Named Top UBLW Hurler Saturday, July 1st , 2056 Last month's cream of the crop on the mound was Greg Epley of the Louisiana Admirals. He captured the West Pitcher of the Month award for his outstanding performance in June. Epley started 4 games, threw 25.1 innings, yielded 16 hits and logged a 3-0 record. He put down 18 batters on strikes, walked 12 and compiled a 2.13 ERA. Opposing teams batted .178 against him. For the season Epley has logged 5 wins and 4 losses and struck out 46 batters in 61.2 innings while compiling a 4.52 ERA. |
