Epley Voted June's Rookie Award Saturday, July 1st , 2056 Greg Epley of the Louisiana Admirals might be a newcomer to the league, but he definitely is a player. He proved it this month with an exceptional 3-0 won-lost mark and fine 2.13 ERA. For that outstanding performance Epley was named the West Rookie of the Month. In June he started 4 games, tossed 25.1 innings, yielded 16 base hits, fanned 18 and walked 12. Opposing hitters managed a .178 average against him. So far this year Epley has a 5-4 record with a 4.52 ERA. |
