The Wyoming Goats starting pitcher sustained a season-ending injury against the Utah Rhinos and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Ortíz was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn rotator cuff and stated that he would not be able to play for 5 months. This year Ortíz has a 2-2 record and a 3.98 ERA. |
