South Carolina's Bolden Gets UBLE Player of the Week Monday, May 6th , 2058 22-year-old Donnie Bolden sent shock waves through United Baseball League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the East Player of the Week Award. A newcomer to the league, Bolden made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .500 average, 5 hits in 10 at-bats, 2 home runs and 4 runs batted in. Where the South Carolina Jackrabbits left fielder goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Bolden certainly made his mark last week. In the 2058 season Bolden is hitting .414 with 3 home runs. |
