Kansas Left Fielder May's Premier Rookie Saturday, June 1st , 2058 When you think of rookies, you think of men in their early to mid-20's. Despite the fact that Dave Harris is 30, he made a big splash by putting up solid numbers to win West Rookie of the Month honors. He told BNN reporters at the press conference, "I'm thrilled beyond words. All I can say is... better late than never." In May, the Kansas left fielder hit .414 while rapping out 46 hits, 8 home runs, 25 RBIs and 20 runs scored. This year Harris is hitting .351 with 11 home runs and 35 RBIs to his credit. He has gotten on base at a .373 clip and scored 28 runs. |
