Hooper Presented UBLE Rookie of the Year Award Friday, October 4th , 2058 R.J. Hooper, second baseman for the Wisconsin Berserkers, had a good freshman year, highlighted today by his selection for the East Rookie of the Year Award for 2058. The standout Berserkers second baseman took the honor by hitting .308 in 95 games this season and finishing with 96 hits, 11 home runs, 52 RBIs and 43 runs scored. He received 11 first place votes out of a possible 12. José Francisco of the South Carolina Jackrabbits finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Ed Nix of the Wisconsin Berserkers finished third.
