West Names Top Player Sunday, October 6th , 2058 Dave Martin of the Nevada Piranhas had a fine season this year and today he accepted the Most Valuable Player Award for 2058.
The 28-year-old first baseman put up a .287 average and a .391 on-base percentage, piling up 124 hits, 28 doubles, 2 triples, 26 home runs, 78 RBIs and 65 runs scored.
He received 10 first place votes out of a possible 12. Dave Harris of the Kansas Monarchs finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Rob Lowe of the Utah Rhinos finished third.
