Sánchez Hurls Rascals to 7-0 Shutout Win Thursday, July 3rd , 2059 Ánibal Sánchez of the Tennessee Rascals was on fire against the Nevada Piranhas at Ballpark of Tennessee today. He shut them out 7-0 on 5 hits, collecting 9 strikeouts and allowing 1 walk. "The first two pitches I'm looking for an out, a ground ball or a fly ball," Sánchez said later. "I'm trying to get quick outs. I've never been a big believer in trying to strike a guy out from the very first pitch. It's too easy to end up behind in the count doing that."
