Virginia's Loomis Bags UBLE Top Batter for July Sunday, August 1st , 2060 Eric Loomis really smoked the ball in July on his way to Batter of the Month honors in the East. The Virginia first baseman hit .330 with 9 home runs, 30 RBIs and 19 runs scored to round out his great month. Loomis is batting at a .299 pace this season, picking up 101 hits in 338 at-bats with 25 home runs, 67 RBIs and 58 runs scored. |
