Hits Galore: Moreno Drills 5 Hits Sunday, July 19th , 2065 Tennessee second baseman Israel Moreno had a big day at Gophers Field today against the Indiana Gophers. The 28-year-old, who is not typically considered a big threat with the bat, went 5-for-6 and led the Rascals to a 3-1 triumph over Indiana. "Hey, I'm as surprised as you guys are," Moreno said in his postgame comments, smiling as he scolded the press corps for underestimating him. "Maybe I'm not so bad at the plate after all." Israel Moreno grounded out in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, singled in the 10th and hit an RBI single in the 11th.
