Big Day with Bat: Greer 5-for-6 Monday, July 20th , 2065 At Flames Field today, Eric Greer of the Nevada Piranhas put on a hitting clinic. He banged out 5 hits in 6 at-bats and mauled the Oklahoma Flames pitching staff, but Nevada still came up short on the scoreboard. The Piranhas went home with the 6-5 loss, in spite of a standout 5-hit performance from their catcher. "Hey, it's great to get that many hits in a game, but it would have been nice to win the game, too," Greer said in the postgame interview. Eric Greer hit a two-run single in the 1st, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 7th, singled in the 9th and singled in the 11th.
