Rhinos Get Zip in 5-0 Loss to Woodard Thursday, August 6th , 2065 Mike Woodard led the Nebraska Terriers to a 5-0 shutout victory over the Utah Rhinos at Utah Grounds today. "My pitching coach told me before the game just to bear down and focus," Woodard recalled later. "He said no one was going to hit me if I'm throwing a good breaking ball with good location." Woodard yielded 4 hits and had 4 strikeouts and 1 walk in the standout performance. "I thought he put the ball where he wanted to," Utah manager said. "And that's just about the whole secret to pitching." So far this year Woodard has made 13 starts, tossed 105.2 innings, struck out 67 batters and walked 24.
