Sergio Gomez Hurt, Will Miss Rest of Year Tuesday, August 18th , 2065 Sergio Gomez will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the Massachusetts starting pitcher could miss the remainder of the year. Gomez was injured while throwing a pitch in the Possums-Cockatoos clash at Michigan Grounds recently. Doctors said he has bone chips in his elbow and would be out a minimum of 4 months. In pitching stats this season Gomez has rung up no wins and 4 losses in 10 games. He has an ERA of 5.12 and has fanned 40 batters in 45.2 innings. |
