Martínez and Hodges Pitch in at Local Homeless Shelter Monday, October 5th , 2065 It is always good to see local athletes use their popularity and status for the good of the community. Today, Doug Martínez and Joe Hodges pitched in at local homeless shelter, serving meals for hundreds of underprivileged citizens of Missouri. "It's the least we can do", added Martínez. "I don't do it because I'm a member of the Mules, I do it because I care about the community. There's plenty of women and young children among these people, and giving them a hot meal uplifts me as well. Seeing the looks of appreciation on their faces makes it all worth it." |
