Wisconsin Wins Top Spot in East Monday, August 26th , 2069 Say what you want about the Wisconsin Berserkers and their abilities on the baseball diamond. Nobody can question their ability to celebrate a division title. The music was loud and the adult beverages were flowing tonight as the Berserkers officially clinched the East. "You concentrate so hard on winning the division, so it's nice to finally be here and be able to enjoy it," said starting pitcher Tony Najera, whose championship t-shirt was drenched. "It's probably going to be a long night." Wisconsin clinched the division with a record currently sitting at 71-56. It is the 4th division championship in team history and will give the Berserkers the opportunity to go for their 2nd United Baseball League championship. |
