Louisiana Takes League Championship Series in Deciding Game Saturday, September 13th , 2070 United Baseball League fans were certainly not disappointed with this West League Championship Series. The two teams were evenly matched and the series went to the final game, with the Louisiana Admirals prevailing over the Missouri Mules to advance to the United Baseball Cup. Louisiana won the final game by a score of 3-2 at Ballpark of Missouri and that sealed the series 4-3. "Things were tense in our clubhouse and dugout before and during this game, but we can let loose a bit now -- the hard work is over, for now," said second baseman John Wells, who earned MVP honors. For the series, Wells hit .333 with a .357 on-base percentage. He had 4 home runs, 8 RBI and scored 7 runs.
