Suns Move on to League Championship Series
The St. Augustine Suns "proved we can handle pressure" by beating the Wildcard Series and eliminating the Miami Beach Expos, according to series MVP Tim Walsh.

"This is the big stage, we're off to the League Championship Series and looking towards the Liberty Cup," he said. "There's a lot of pressure at this time of year and it's only going to get more intense from here. But I think we can handle it just fine."

St. Augustine won the final game 14-2, to wrap up the series 3-1.

Walsh led his team to the series win by putting up a .667 average, with a .692 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 5 RBI and scored 3 runs.

The St. Augustine Suns will play against the Pensacola Wahoos in the next round. Pensacola had a bye in the Wildcard Series. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Wildcard Series finishes.
