Best Player Named by East
Tuesday, October 29th , 2069
At the age of 24, Bill Plante of the Cleveland Attack could very well have his best years ahead of him.
It's a startling thought when you consider the year he had in 2069 was good enough to win the left fielder the East Most Valuable Hitter.
"See the ball, hit the ball," he said. "That's my basic approach."
The top hitter put up a .352 batting average this year, as well as a .414 on-base percentage. He played 133 games and racked up 192 hits, 33 doubles, 4 triples, 46 home runs, 122 RBIs and 119 runs scored.
He received 17 first place votes out of a possible 20. Ben Corsetti of the Atlanta Peaches finished second in voting with 1 first place vote, while Ron Beals of the Brooklyn Dodgers finished third with 1 first place vote.
