Season Possibly Over for Jorge Guerra Friday, August 1st , 2053 The season is apparently over for Jorge Guerra. The Raleigh Explorers medical staff informed the club that the reliever will be out at least 4-5 months with radial nerve compression. Guerra was hurt in the game against Fresno while throwing a pitch. The doctors did not think he would recover prior to the end of the season. Taking a look at his season, Guerra has made 26 relief appearances, recorded 2 saves and compiled a 4-2 won-lost mark and a 4.88 ERA. In pitching 62.2 innings, he has totaled 83 strikeouts and 14 walks. |
