Season Over for Pat Keddy in St. Louis
Friday, September 12th , 2053
The doctors have spoken and Pat Keddy of the St. Louis Sportsman didn't like what he heard. The 23-year-old closer is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Keddy sustained his season-ending injury during the Idaho Falls Rapids game yesterday at Sportsman Park. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the St. Louis medical staff reported Keddy had a torn ulnar collateral ligament and would be absent from the lineup for at least 9 months.

Keddy has collected 27 saves for the year with 34 strikeouts and 12 walks in 45.2 innings while registering a 2.56 ERA and a 3-5 won-lost record.
