5-Hit Game for Quero Saturday, August 1st , 2054 Jerry Quero of the Spartans was unstoppable in today's 9-5 victory over the Eugene Ducks at Spartans Stadium. He battered them for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. "Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Rochester left fielder after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this.
