Ducks Hathaway Sizzles with Cycle Sunday, September 12th , 2055 It was a special day for Darrel Hathaway at Eugene Ballpark today. Not only did Hathaway's Eugene Ducks beat the Louisville Sluggers 11-10, but the catcher hit for the cycle along the way. The 25-year-old Hathaway racked up 1 single, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run to get his name in the record books. For the game, he went 4-for-5 with 2 RBI and 3 runs scored. "He hit everything we threw," said Sluggers manager . "There was just no getting him out today." Speaking to the press after the game, Hathaway said his goal for the day had been to look for "first pitch fastballs." "I got some good looks today," he said. Darrel Hathaway hit an RBI double in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, tripled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Derek Davidson in the 7th, singled in the 9th and walked in the 11th.
