Streak Finally Over, Murdock Held Hitless Tuesday, May 16th , 2056 The Sportsman stopped Alex Murdock's 21-game hitting streak today at Battle Cats Park, but they couldn't stop the Olympia Battle Cats, falling by the score of 10-7. Murdock didn't get a hit for the first time in weeks, finishing 0-for-4. "It's just as well," Battle Cats manager said. "We couldn't spend the whole season going out of our way not to jinx him." So far this year Murdock is hitting .355 with 3 home runs. |
