Coker Slaps 5 Hits
Tuesday, June 20th , 2056
It takes more than one player to win a baseball game - as proven by Johnathan Coker of the Toronto Blue Jays.

The Toronto first baseman gave it his all and dominated Wilmington Eagles pitching today at Eagles Ballpark, finishing with a great 5-for-5 line. However, when the game ended, the scoreboard showed the Eagles going home the winner, 15-10.

"There's no point gloating about a 5-hit day in a loss," Coker said later. "A loss just means you should have done more. Maybe I should have hit 5 home runs instead."

Johnathan Coker singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off José López in the 6th and singled in the 8th.

This year Coker has hit at a .312 clip with 50 RBIs, 14 home runs and 41 runs scored.
