Davis Gone for Season in Colorado Springs
Sunday, June 25th , 2056
Colorado Springs reliever Ryan Davis could miss the remainder of the season because of a damaged elbow ligament. He exited yesterday's Olympia game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Davis would be out 14 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that."

Taking a look at his season stats for 2056, Davis has made 17 relief appearances, recorded 1 save and compiled a 3-0 won-lost mark with a 2.16 ERA. In pitching 25 innings, he has totaled 11 strikeouts and 15 walks.
