Padilla Is ELE's Best Pitcher in August Friday, September 1st , 2056 Birmingham Vulcans reliever Nelson Padilla shut down the opposition in August. In doing so, the 21-year-old was called out from the bullpen to nail down the Pitcher of the Month honors in the East. He made 11 relief appearances and compiled 4 saves with a 3-0 mark, 16 innings, 12 strikeouts and a 0.56 ERA. So far this year Padilla has been credited with 9 saves, registered a 2.30 ERA and struck out 43 in 43 innings. He also has a 5-4 record. |
