League Championship Series Goes the Distance, Cleveland Prevails Saturday, October 7th , 2056 The Cleveland Attack and Birmingham Vulcans hooked up in a classic League Championship Series that went right down to the wire. In the end, it's Cleveland heading off to the Explorer Cup, after a 12-7 win at Cleveland Ballpark tonight earned the 4-3 series win. Outside Cleveland Ballpark, whether they were supporters of Cleveland or Birmingham, many fans talked about how it was a series they would never forget. Josh Mayes played the hero for the Attack in the series, as his MVP performance included a .348 batting average, with a .400 on-base percentage. He also had 3 home runs, 10 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Cleveland Attack will play against the Oklahoma City Whirlwind in the next round. Oklahoma City won their series against the Glendale Cobras 4 games to 1.
