Idaho Falls Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Thursday, August 28th , 2059 The Idaho Falls Rapids have a new opponent: mathematics. The Rapids still have games to play in their disappointing 2059 campaign, but the numbers say they won't mean much -- the Rapids were today mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the postseason. Idaho Falls last appeared in the postseason in 2044. This is their 15th consecutive year missing the playoffs, and in total they have not advanced past the regular season 33 times in their 43 - year history. Idaho Falls last won the Explorer Cup in 2038. |
