Dodgers Nakamaro Kudo Will Miss Season Sunday, May 30th , 2060 Brooklyn shortstop Nakamaro Kudo could miss the remainder of the season because of a ruptured achilles tendon. He exited yesterday's Annapolis game after injuring himself while running the bases. The original diagnosis said Kudo would be out 6 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that." So far this season Kudo is batting .211 with 3 home runs, 12 RBIs and 19 runs scored. He has 41 hits in 194 at-bats, 10 walks and a .254 OBP. Kudo has played in 50 games. |
