Eilsz and Popkovich Suspended for Free-for-All Sunday, August 5th , 2063 Christovão Eilsz of the Rochester Spartans and Ruslan Popkovich of the Eugene Ducks will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 2 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Spartans-Ducks game at Spartans Stadium. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Eilsz and Popkovich will begin serving them soon. In his season totals, Eilsz has 22 home runs, .304 BA, .381 OBP, 47 RBIs and 40 runs scored. He has played in 56 games. |
