Beaulieu Runs Hit String to 20 Straight Games Sunday, July 5th , 2065 Maxence Beaulieu ran his hitting streak to 20 straight games today at Stampede Park, when he collected 1 hit in 4 at-bats. The feat came, however, as the Houston Stampede dropped the game, 6-1, to the Louisville Sluggers. "Hey, the streak is great -- I hope it never ends," Beaulieu said later. "But I'm not happy to lose the game." Maxence Beaulieu grounded out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, flied out in the 5th and struck out in the 7th. So far this season Beaulieu is hitting .332 with 15 home runs. |
