José Hernández Lost for Season Friday, August 28th , 2065 José Hernández will soon find out from his doctors if his season will continue. The first diagnosis was not too positive and indicated the St. Louis shortstop could miss the remainder of the year. Hernández was injured while running the bases in the Sportsman-Avalanche clash at Sportsman Park recently. Doctors said he has a torn meniscus and would be out a minimum of 4-5 months. This season Hernández has delivered 85 hits in 348 at-bats for a .244 average with 8 home runs. He is getting on base at a .331 clip and his totals also include 24 RBIs and 33 runs scored. This year Hernández has played in 116 games. |
