Atlanta 2070 Explorer Cup Champions Friday, October 10th , 2070 It was a hard-fought battle for both teams to make it this far. But as the saying goes, "to the victors go the spoils." For the victorious Atlanta Peaches, that meant the Explorer League Explorer Cup trophy. The Peaches took a 14-9 victory over the Houston Stampede at Stampede Park, winning their 9th championship after taking the series 4-1. "We've got grit," said Peaches right fielder Richard Lett, who was named MVP of the series. "We know how to win when we have to."
