Davis Shuts Out Turtles Sunday, July 28th , 2047 In an excellent mound performance, Jonathan Davis of the Las Vegas Dons whitewashed the San Antonio Turtles 4-0 on a 7-hitter. "I had my best stuff and did a good job of mixing up my pitches," he said after the game. In all, the Las Vegas hurler rang up 3 strikeouts and no walks in the shutout win. "We just didn't swing the bats well today," said Turtles manager . "Davis did a good job keeping us guessing." Davis has taken the mound for no relief appearances this season, nailing down no saves while notching a 8-5 record with a 5.33 ERA.
