Raleigh Season Won't Continue in Playoffs Thursday, September 3rd , 2048 It won't be a season to remember for the Raleigh Explorers, as the club has officially missed out on the playoffs. The Explorers were mathematically eliminated from qualification today. "With any luck, in a couple years we will look back on the 2048 season as an important stepping stone to a title," said Raleigh reliever Iván Júlio. Before this season, the Explorers last missed the playoffs in 2046. In the 35 years they have been a Explorer League franchise, they have missed the playoffs 17 times. In the last 10 years, they have missed the playoffs 3 times. Raleigh has won the Explorer Cup 4 times in their history. |
