Haney Selected Player of the Week Monday, May 9th , 2050 At the age of 31, Jim Haney might have some potential he hasn't realized yet -- if his success at the plate last week is any indication. The San Antonio third baseman put up some exceptional numbers the past seven days with a .522 batting average. For his efforts Haney collected the West Player of the Week Award. He racked up 12 hits in 23 at-bats, 5 home runs and 11 RBIs last week in 6 games. So far this season Haney is hitting .349 with 17 home runs, 38 RBIs and 31 runs scored. He has 44 hits in 126 at-bats and a .434 OBP. |
