Muñóz Belts Bunch of Base Hits Saturday, July 9th , 2050 Shawn Muñóz put on a hitting clinic today as the Rochester Spartans dumped the Louisville Sluggers 6-4 at Louisville Park. The Rochester right fielder made Louisville defenders earn their pay, lashing Louisville pitching for 5 hits in 8 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it." "Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Muñóz said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch." Shawn Muñóz singled in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 7th, grounded out in the 9th, singled in the 12th, struck out in the 14th and singled in the 17th.
