Canseco Batters Wilmington Big Time Tuesday, July 12th , 2050 It was a big day for Manny Canseco and he brought the Atlanta Peaches along for the ride. Canseco led his club to a 14-6 victory over the Wilmington Eagles today at Field of Peaches, smoking Wilmington pitching for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. The 23-year-old first baseman later called the victory "sweet." Manny Canseco singled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Andy Best in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Steve Rose in the 6th, walked in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
