Week's Top Player: Rochester's Hart Monday, August 7th , 2051 19-year-old Jon Hart made a few Rochester headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with his high-school idols. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and West officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort. He cracked 12 hits in 27 at-bats to put up a .444 average. Hart collected 4 home runs, 12 RBIs and scored 7 runs. This season Hart has 4 home runs and a .333 batting average. |
