Rochester's Zapata Hammers #400 Tuesday, August 15th , 2051 Iván Zapata circled the bases and raised his arm in triumph. He had finally hit his 400th home run. It was a homer for a lot of people: himself, his teammates past and present, his former managers and coaches, and especially his family, who sat near the plate cheering his every at-bat during the past few games. Zapata spoke with BNN and said, "I knew number 400 would come sooner or later. I had to keep reminding myself, 'Relax, relax, just let it happen, let it happen.' And it finally did." His milestone homer came in the Rochester Spartans 9-3 win over the Oklahoma City Whirlwind. Zapata went 1 for 3 in the game, scored 2 runs, and batted in 1.
