Miners Listless in 8-0 Loss to Bad Apples Tuesday, July 16th , 2058 Today was António Chávez's turn in the rotation for the Carlsbad Bad Apples and he made the most of it, shutting out the Coeur D'Alene Miners on 8 hits. The 22-year-old right-hander led the Bad Apples to an easy 8-0 victory, allowing no walks and tallying 4 strikeouts. "I hope we miss him next time," Coeur D'Alene manager said.
