League Championship Series Goes the Distance, Corpus Christi Prevails Friday, October 4th , 2058 When the entire season comes down to one game, Brody Stevenson said you find out what a team is really about. As it turns out, the Corpus Christi Hooks are made of fight and tenacity, as the team got by the Cadiz Bat Hogs 6-1 tonight at Cadiz Grounds in order to win the League Championship Series and book a place in the next round. "It wasn't hard to get excited for this game," said Stevenson, whose strong offensive output earned him MVP honors. "Our guys answered the call and proved a lot about what our team is all about." Stevenson hit .429 with a .500 on-base percentage. He had 2 home runs, drove in 9 RBI and scored 5 runs. The Corpus Christi Hooks will play against the Havre de Grace Ducks in the next round.
