Jason Chester Out for Season Saturday, May 24th , 2059 Jason Chester has to call it a season. The Hartford Yard Goats reliever sustained a season-ending injury against the San Luis Obispo Saints and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Chester was injured while throwing a pitch. His doctors diagnosed it as a damaged elbow ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 13-14 months. So far this season Chester has worked 34.2 innings in 16 relief appearances with 1 saves. He has dished out 32 strikeouts and walked 26 with a 4-1 mark and a 4.93 ERA. |
