Hits Galore: Munoz Drills 5 Hits Sunday, June 13th , 2060 It seemed Hilton Head Islanders right fielder Jerry Munoz could do no wrong today, but it still didn't come out right. The Islanders fell against the Spokane Indians by the score of 12-7. Munoz did all he could, rapping out 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but in the end, Spokane prevailed at Hilton Head Park. "I felt real good today, but my best just wasn't enough," Munoz said in the postgame interview. "We didn't play well enough to win. I saw the ball well and put the ball in play well, and they fell in for base hits. Some days they do that." Jerry Munoz singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Karl Doran in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Karl Doran in the 9th.
