Player of the Week: San Luis Obispo's Lyman Monday, August 2nd , 2060 So far in his young career, Blake Lyman has kept a low profile, but after his performance at the plate last week, he attracted the notice of the rest of the East in a big way as he was named the Player of the Week today for his efforts. The 23-year-old San Luis Obispo Saints second baseman hit at a torrid .500 clip as he collected 13 hits in 26 at-bats, no home runs, 2 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Lyman is currently batting .333 with 3 home runs and 34 RBIs. |
