Ruckus Reaps 3-Game Suspensions Tuesday, July 17th , 2063 Baseball officials have notified the Ducks and Yard Goats organizations that one of their players has been suspended for "inappropriate and aggressive behavior" in yesterday's Havre de Grace-Hartford contest at Duck Pond. Nick Wolters of the Ducks and Bobby Farmer of the Yard Goats will have to sit out 3 games for their roles in the free-for-all brawl. This season Wolters is batting .310 with 28 home runs. He has scored 64 runs and driven in 78. This year Farmer has 28 relief appearances with 2 saves, 2-1 season record and a 3.64 ERA. He has hurled 64.1 innings, given up 63 hits, struck out 66 and walked 23. Opposing clubs have batted .265 against the Hartford reliever. |
