Danny Prater Hurt, Out for Year Saturday, August 8th , 2065 Danny Prater of the Baby Snakes just might have to call it quits for the season. The 20-year-old Tucson starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Coeur D'Alene Miners recently at Miners Field. Prater suffered a stretched elbow ligament while throwing a pitch. The Baby Snakes medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 10 months. Currently Prater has a record of 3-9 with 97 strikeouts and 54 walks in 109 innings and a 5.45 ERA. |
