Curtis Rips 3 Homers Against Water Wolves

Fans are still buzzing after Bend whipped the St. Cloud Water Wolves by the score of 15-1 today at Water Wolves Park.
Ross Curtis smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the first baseman bashed out 3 hits in 3 at-bats, had 7 RBIs and scored 3 times.
At the postgame press conference, Curtis said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game.
"Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Curtis said. "Three is just... wow."
Ross Curtis walked in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Josh Sauber in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Shigem Maekawa in the 4th, walked in the 6th, walked in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Allen Sullivan in the 9th.
Curtis on the season is batting .244 with 8 home runs. His totals include 22 RBIs and 14 runs scored. He has played in 22 games.
