Menendez Raps OBX for 5 Hits Monday, August 24th , 2065 5 times is the charm -- at least for Jorge Menendez. The Mobile Hammers center fielder tore up the OBX Privateers to the tune of 5 hits in 7 at-bats at Privateers Park today. The offensive onslaught from Menendez powered the Hammers to a 12-2 win. "Menendez was a tough out today," OBX manager said to the press in the postgame interview. "He hit some very good pitches with that quick bat of his. Not an easy out, that's for sure." Jorge Menendez singled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, tripled in the 6th, singled in the 7th, singled in the 9th and flied out in the 9th.
