At the age of 22, Victor Sauceda says he still has a lot to learn about life in Confederation League.

But he certainly seems to be a quick study, as the San Luis Obispo Saints reliever was better than all others this year and has captured the 2065 East Reliever of the Year Award.

"I hope to win this a few more times before all is said and done in my career," the
Hackensack, New Jersey native said.

For the season, Sauceda had 5 saves in 44 relief appearances, which totaled 79.2. He fanned 86 betters, while walking 21 and put up a record of 8-1 to go with his 1.81 ERA.

He received 20 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Bryan Winkle of the Mobile Hammers finished second in voting, while Brian Anderson of the San Luis Obispo Saints finished third.
